Students will work in the housekeeping department and perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties for

guest rooms, condos, and public areas. Responsibilities may include room turnovers, cleaning lobbies and

hallways, and assisting with laundry functions such as folding, sorting, and transporting linens.

Typical duties include:

* Cleaning and preparing guest rooms, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living areas, fireplaces, and

decks/porches.

* Removing, collecting, sorting, folding, and transporting linens and laundry.

* Vacuuming carpets and upholstered furniture and cleaning tiled floors with brooms and mops.

* Dusting furniture, electronics, and other surfaces.

* Cleaning and sanitizing tubs, sinks, countertops, mirrors, toilets, shower areas, and other surfaces using

appropriate cleaning products.

* Emptying wastebaskets and transporting trash and waste to designated disposal areas.

* Replenishing trash bags, soap, bathroom supplies, and other guest room amenities.

* Maintaining clean and orderly public areas, including lobbies, hallways and the public guest areas.

* Providing friendly and professional customer service and responding appropriately to guest questions or

concerns.

* Reporting facility issues, guest concerns, accidents, damages, emergencies, and potential safety hazards to a

supervisor or manager.

* Following all housekeeping, safety, and sanitation procedures.

This position requires attention to detail, a positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team

in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
