FOOD SERVICES TEAM MEMBER
English Level: Intermediate

Over Georgia/Cedar Point Park Transfer– Participants will have the opportunity to work in 2 different
amusement parks and explore different areas of the United States during the early summer season!

Participants
will arrive in Atlanta, Georgia where they will start working as food and beverage attendant at Over Georgia. At
the end of April, they will transfer by provided bus to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. Participants will continue
working as a food and beverage attendant at Cedar Point until the end of their contract.
Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
Operate food service equipment such as grills, fryers, registers, soda machines, etc.
Prepare, cook, and serve food and beverages according to company standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and dining areas
Ensure food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed at all times
Accurately handle credit card or mobile transactions using a POS system
Replenish supplies and restock workstations as needed
Work cooperatively with other team members to meet rush demands
Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest needs and resolving issues
Adhere to all Six Flags policies including uniform, safety, and attendance standards
Must be friendly and outgoing
Must be able to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
Requires long periods of standing.
May have exposure to direct sunlight and heat for long periods of time. The climate in Atlanta usually ranges
from warm in May (17°C – 28°C) to hot and humid in June and July (21°C – 35°C).
Clean park and ride areas using chemicals, broom, dustpan, pressure washer, and other cleaning supplies.
Requires use of cleaning chemicals.

RIDE OPERATOR

Over Georgia/Cedar Point Park Rotation – Participants will have the opportunity to work in 2 different
amusement parks and explore different areas of the United States during the early summer season!

Participants
will arrive in Atlanta, Georgia where they will start working as ride operators at Over Georgia. At the end of April,
they will transfer by provided bus to Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio. Participants will continue working as a ride
operator at Cedar Point until the end of their contract.
Ride Operators are responsible for ensuring a safe and efficient operation of rides, while maintaining focus on
the ride area and guests. General duties include verifying riders are properly seated, and safety restraints are
secure before every ride cycle, operating ride control systems which may vary in terms of complexity and
memorizing and delivering scripted safety announcements over a microphone. Associates must be able to pass
an International Ride Operator Certification (iROC). All training is paid and conducted on property during
training period. This position will involve a high level of guest contact; therefore, candidates must have good
English/communication and excellent customer service skills. Ride Operators make guests happy by delivering
amazing experiences and helping them create lifelong memories. Interact with different people of all ages and
backgrounds. Gain skills, knowledge, and experience. Provide excellent customer service by being friendly,
attentive, and responsive to guest needs and requests.

March and April. Associates can expect to work 3-4 days a week during these months but can expect 5 days of
work during spring break week.
Participants will arrive at Cedar Point for daily operation and be scheduled 5 days a week. Scheduled hours may
be changed when operations are impacted by weather. All positions require long periods of standing. May
require outdoor work in all weather conditions. May have exposure to direct sunlight and heat for long periods
of time.
