On the day that I left my family and friends to start my new journey I was so excited and nervous at the same time, while I was on the plane I was crying realising I’m not going to see my parents and siblings for whole ten months, I was hoping the plane can just turn around and take me back home.eighteen hours flight including the layovers past now it’s time to meet my host family and double placement, they were holding a big sign that said “Welcome to Idaho Nadia”.I know right away that this new chapter of my life would be amazing.On the first day of school I woke up early waiting for the school bus, I was thrilled and scared, but I ended up very enjoying all the class, all of the teachers are so nice and welcoming and I also made lots of friends.I got a chance to go to the cheerleading try out it's so much fun and I made it to the team! I met a lot of exchange students friends from other countries. We cooked our traditional food for a potluck. I love learning about other cultures and sharing my own.My host moms took me to many places to get some new experience. For example in summer we went camping up on the mountain. The view was stunning, in fall we went to a farmstead.She helped me pick my homecoming dress.On the homecoming day I went to my best friend’s house to get ready together. It was so much fun and such a great memory.
