The Culinary Intern will prepare and support food operations under supervision in a high-volume environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Preparing various menu items under the supervision of chefs • Maintaining a high pace while prepping for high volume restaurant service and special functions • Prepping foods for all outlets and specialty menus • Completing daily prep lists • Organizing and maintaining a clean, efficient work area and kitchen • Rotating product and properly storing food in designated areas • Assisting with cleaning and organizing all storage areas • Cleaning and/or organizing walk in refrigerators and freezers, as assigned • Ensuring compliance with all established health and safety procedures • Reporting damaged or dangerous equipment • Attending and practicing food safety and sanitation training • Taking direction from Chefs, Sous Chefs, Cook 4s, and outlet managers • Demonstrating teamwork and cooperation with service staff • Completing all job responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner • Complying with all company policies and regulatory requirements • Performing other duties as assigned
