GAS STATION CASHIER
English Level: Basic

AGE : 21+
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducts sales transactions accurately and quickly.
Enters all transactions into a basic computer cash register, accepts payments by cash or credit cards, and
accounts for all funds.
Performs daily station cleaning, stocking, and merchandising as instructed by management.
Accomplishes shift breaks by documenting unit inventory count of designated store products and cash bank
count at the beginning and end of every shift.
Completes shift sheet accounting.
Takes measures to preserve the safety of employees and all others in the work location.
Secures all funds in safe or register.
Makes timely drops and maintains cash drawer at or below maximum level.
Accepts, verifies, and documents store and fuel deliveries in the absence of the store manager.
Reviews and checks customer credit cards strictly following company policies and procedures.
Obtains electronic or telephone authorization for all charges.
Mechanically imprints all manually entered cards.
Performs daily cleaning duties such as floors, restrooms, gas pumps and walk in coolers.
Takes reasonable precautions and measures to protect company assets.

– Sorts, counts, folds, marks and carries linens. – Cleans multiple stay over and departure rooms per day based on company standard. – Replenish and/or replace supplies such as drinking glasses, stationary, TV guides, casino information flyers, menus, matches, etc. – Sweeps, scrubs and vacuums floor. – Cleans upholstered furniture. – Cleans guest room bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, vanity area, mirrors and floors. – Dusts and/or cleans furniture, such as the televisions, dressers, chairs, headboards, air conditioning units, vanity, phone, mirrors, wall and ceiling lamps, picture frames, etc. – Washes walls, ceiling and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills. – Empties wastebaskets and ashtrays. – Replenishes bathroom supplies, including toilet paper, tissue, soap, shampoo, etc. – Ensures all items in the room are in working order, including television, lights, air conditioning unit, telephone, alarm clock, drapes, luggage rack, etc. – Assists Guests with any questions they may have or requests. – Maintain an open line of communication with Supervisors and Managers concerning all Housekeeping and Guest Service related issues. – Maintains a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with fellow Team Members, Guests and Vendors. – Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner. – Other related duties as assigned.

Responsible for compliance with all regulatory requirements, including but not limited to, Liquor Commission Regulations, TOSHA, Health, Sanitation, Franchise and ServSafe standards. -Must be able to operate computer and point-of-sale equipment with accuracy and appropriate speed. -Process all forms of payment, refund, discount and credit card transactions according to established procedures and/or direction from leadership with accuracy and appropriate speed. -Must maintain all venue supplies according to franchise/company standards of time, levels, order and appearance. -Complete all required documentation according to company and/or franchise standards. -Maintain a clean, well groomed, professional appearance in accordance with Foxwoods Standards of Appearance.
